I have been watching races at Benton County Speedway for the past 2 years and it gets worse and worse every year!! I hear fans behind me saying the same thing. Last night was ridiculous!! Danny Dvorak stops on the track because he has a pump for his fuel come off, they then just push him to the infield which is fine because they don't want fuel all over the track. BUT then Danny gets out of his car and tries to start fixing which is also fine, but the rest of the infield starts helping. People are getting out of their push trucks to help Danny out. The tow truck takes forever to hook up number 72 Mike Hogenkamp while Danny is trying to fix his car just to give him more time. I can understand Danny fixing the car, but the rest of the infield guys. That is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!! Everyone knows if it was anyone else sitting in the infield they would not have helped. But then Danny gets on the track and he jumps 5 restarts!!! He started last in the one restart and they didn't finish a lap and BCS officials moved him up 4 spots!!! That is flat out RIDICULOUS!!! Danny ended up in the top 10 in the race with Nick Roberts winning, the same Nick Roberts that Danny took out last week because Nick was going to pass him for the lead. Danny caused the caution when he took Nick out, but he got to keep his spot. Is this a coincidence?? I do not believe so. BCS favors all of the hometown guys and have for years!! This is the worst track around. Not only should all of the racing officials be fired, but the promoter should be gone also. All he cares about is his precious State Fair Grounds race track. No one at BCS knows how to fix the track, every time you bring that tractor out you only make the track worse. Luloff rolled last week because he hit a HUGE rut because BCS does not know how to fix their track throughout the week. Also, the flagman is terrible!! How can you be a flagman when you don't have all the flags??!! He never has the Blue/Yellow flag which tells lap traffic to get out of the way. If he had that flag and knew how to use it Garret Eilander would have picked up his first victory at BCS with no problem!! I believe he still beat Brian Happel across the line, but he had to push the lap traffic car out of the way and hit Happel to give himself a chance because BCS officials do not know what is going on. Brian Happel is a track favorite by BCS officials and people don't know Eilander that well. That is why Happel happened to win!! The bad thing is that BCS could be a really fast track, but they don't do anything to help it out. I went to Marshalltown Friday and I am just always so impressed when I go to the track. They always have it ready to go and they have 100+ cars show up. Ryan Clark said there were about 75 cars check in last night in BCS, only 7 stock cars. That is terrible!!! I really wish you could follow in Marshalltown's footsteps and make this track fast and smooth!! And also stop screwing the people who aren't track favorites. That is one reason why you continue to lose cars coming to the track. That's all I got to say and if I am able to continue to go to Marshalltown on Friday's, then I will not be going to the BCS again!!
